We are creating a network of UKSCN School groups across the country creating important collaboration with shared goals and resources.
By joining the network you will get regular news and updates, publicity opportunities, the chance to have your voices heard in nationwide actions, and resources to help your group grow.
Once you’re school group is registered, why not join one of our open zoom calls – the next one being in September 2020. This is a great way to learn more about the School Group Network, and find out what other groups are up to. More information about the call will be sent out to all registered school groups nearer the time.
The UKSCN Teachers’ Network is a network of teachers and educational professionals, in the form of a Facebook group, who support the work of UKSCN in protesting the government’s lack of action on the climate crisis. It is a space to communicate, share resources and work together to help educate the future on the severe reality climate change and how we can generate change, alongside encouraging UKSCN school groups and push for educational reform to properly address the climate crisis within the school environment. We also encourage schools to make changes on a smaller, local scale and use their funding to invest in environmentally-conscious buildings, facilities and schemes.
We welcome people from all educational backgrounds and would love to have your input as a supportive teacher in this group! If you would like to join, please visit UKSCN Teachers’ Network group on Facebook and request to join.
